Look, I'm really newbie in linux, just installed it, and have some questions.
It's about wine, i've read that I can run win programms thrue it. So, if I really can do it, shoud i have all thise programms pre-innstalled on my Windows, or i do not need a Windows anyway...is it just like put in CD with a game open Wine, and i can install it and run it from my linux folder....`???
Appriciate your help....
Thanks.

P.s. sorry for my english, i tried as i could

If your first thoughts on using Linux are using windows programs through it, then Linux is not for you. Native programs exist for most functions, and should be used if possible. that said wine can run many programs WITHOUT windows being installed at all.

note that wine is primarily a community developement product, not a super shiny app. for extended support of common office applications, look at crossover office. for games try cedega. these are commercial implementations of wine's code

Wine is really hard to use, my self I have tried to install it to test a web page on IE, but even following the tutos and all, and nothing.

No, it is not. You have to run it throuhg wine and it will emulate a windows install, even the reboots.

Yes they are installed on your linux partitions, then wine emulates the windows rutes like c:\aplication programs\whatever

IMO wine is not a simple tool to use.
