Windows Messenger

Is there a program out that will allow me to attach to a Microsoft Exchange server? We are looking a deploying a linux desktop solution but have run into a few snags, most of which are fixed but we need to be able to communicate with others on a windows exchange server.

Any suggestions?

As far as i know there is no linux replacemeant for Outlook.

Exchange can be configured to provide POP3 and SMTP mail access allowing any POP3 and SMTP client to talk to it happily. Thunderbird is my email client of choice.

As for calenders, tasks and contacts i think you are looking at a far more complex solution. The bitch about using exchange is how beautifully it ties you into using Outlook theirfor Office pro theirfor windows on the desktops

Not looking to replace outlook. We are looking to replace Windows Messangers (Not MSN Messanger) for direct communication (chatting).
