I want to watch the news clips on CNN.com but I need Windows Media Player. Any way to get around this on Firefox? Is there a linux port?

I want to view live video on web sites that say they require Windows Media Player.
What are "win32 codecs", where do you get them, and what do you do with them?

Running simply mepis 3.4-3

You can visit http://www.mplayerhq.hu/ and you get the info you need. Just go to the downloads section and view the how-to's to install mplayer on your pc.
