windows java based app running on fedora core 3?

I was wondering is there any chance i can get calmat to run on linux. For those who dont know it's a program specifically designed for bsc computer science students to introduce basic maths concepts in order for them to do advanced programming. It uses the windows version of java. I already tried cedega and wine they both struggle in they cant install java and wont copy the program files.

When installing java it says the destination direcotry is locked at the very end where it's finsihing off why?

Java is multiplatform and OS independent (as a compsci you should know that!)...use the linux version of java.

the thing is it's an exe which means u need to use wine. When i tried it i get the following so i thought wine doesn't work with java
fixme:dbghelp:SymLoadModule Should have successfully loaded debug information for image Z:\home\steven\.transgaming\c_drive\CALMAT\TCRUN.EXE
