Windows Emulation For Debian
Alright, so I have one hard drive with Windows XP, and the other with Debian 3.1.
I have my Windows Partition mounted, so I can access StarCraft and Halo (pretty much the only games I play) I installed Wine, but it always says it can't find files, or gives me some other kind of error. I've tried configuring it and messing around with it, but I can't seem to get it to work when I install either game. Is there a solution, or a better free emulation option? |
There's wineX. It's made more for the use of games. I think it's free if you build it.

I can't find a free version... you have to subscribe to TransGaming just to download it, and I can't seem to find it anywhere else.

The CVS tree is the free version:

Winex is $15 minimum. Close enough to free ;)

I'm trying to checkout the winex CVS but I'm having some problems. I've tried cvs -d:pserver:cvs@cvs.transgaming.org:/cvsroot login like it said on the TransGaming site, but I get an error cvs login: warning: failed to open /home/rajeev/.cvspass for reading: No such file or directory. What should be in my ~/.cvspass? After that, what modules should I checkout? (Full commands would be helpful)
