Windows Drivers For PSC Machines In Linux.
Hi I am looking for a way to run an HP driver for a PSC all-in one in Ubuntu, is there a way?
I found something called DriverLoader, http://www.linuxant.com/driverloader/wlan/install.php |
Uhhh...
You mean you want to be able to use your HP PSC with Linux? That's almost trivially easy. Ubuntu should detect it and download/install the approprate drivers automatically. |
You're gonna wanna tell us which model you have.
Pulling up a few at random showed all but one listing Linux support. Newer printers may require installing the latest driver. It is easy to do in Ubuntu. |
Yes I looked for the HP PSC 1402 Driver, and there is one, but it is very basic and not so powerful, which I have used for a print out. But there is no scanner... unless you know of software I don't. I looked up HP in add/remove software. And went to the HP website, and followed a link out of the site and downloaded a program.

Your all in one is listed as supported for printing and scanning.
You want to download the HPLIP driver and follow the instructions to install it. Quote:
