Net View

Net View displays a list of computers in the current domain.

I have used samba, but i didnt think it provided a utility to do this.
samba has the "net" command, but no equivelent to the "net view" command that I am aware of.

No way!

smbclient -L is what you're looking for I believe. It'll list shares on a computer or if the computer specified is a domain controller, you'll get a list of servers also

There used to be a Samba command called smbtree, and that's most likely what you're looking for. Perhaps smbclient -L does the same thing?

Also there is the "findsmb" command. "smbtree" does nearly the same thing.
