Windows 98 was lost when Linux 9 was installed. The partition was properly created.

Cannot boot to my windows 98 partition. It boots only to my Red Hat Linux 9. Can I add Windows 98 to my GRUB boot loader so I can get to the portion of my harddrive which contans my windows 98 system and files?

Yes you can. Open the file /boot/grub/menu.lst, and add the following lines to the end:
Code:

title Windows 98
    rootnoverify (hd0,0)
    makeactive
    chainloader +1

This assumes that Windows is in the first partition of your first hard disk. It almost certainly is unless you moved it at some point.
