Hi,
I have a brand new install of CentOS5 and I'm am getting an interesting error (misconfiguration). I installed the nvidia driver and it works fine, except as I alt+tab to rotate through windows, the current window it is on is just black, not the actual window (preview of the window).
This occurs with the "nv" and "nvidia" driver option in the xorg.conf file. I'm afraid some other option was added or removed that is preventing this from working correctly. I tried resarting X (obviously) and also the window manager, but it didn't help.
Thanks,
Brian

edit:
I actually fixed the problem. I switched back to "nv" in xorg.conf and the problem went away. Then I immediately went back to "nvidia" in xorg.conf and the problem was still gone.
I think it had something to do with grabbing the window dimensions to draw the border forced the window to become black and on top of everything. Oh well.
