window placement
 

I was wondering is there a way in KDE to have the icons and windows be forced over in a direction such as in the task bar, basically my problem is that I have installed gkrellmn but it sometimes blocks windows/icons Since both Gkrellmn and my task bar are on the left side of the screen the start menu pushes everything over slightly but not enough so that gkrelmn doesn't block anything. In other words is there a way to make gkrellm have the effect on windows/icons as the taskbar does. In addition is there a way to make the icons place themselves in the right side by default?
Any advice would be appreciated
