Window Maker Run Error... Help!
Hello everyone,
Just finished installing Red Hat 9, pretty cool stuff, found it on sale at Best Buy I thought what the hell. The last version I tried was 5 so I thought I would check out whats new. Not bad I must say, aswome installer and works well out of the box. Well, Im a big fan of Window Maker so I downloaded the .tar ball and installed following all the instructions. Everything compiled well but when I ran it gave me an error. wmaker: error while loading shared libraries: libwraster.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory. So I searched in my system, (perhaps didn't get linked?) but no go, could not find this library. I did updatedb, and searched, nothing. So I'm wondering, have any of you guys ran into something similar? any advice? right now I'm running kde, wich isnt bad but I like having choices  thats why we use linux! :D Any help would be greatly apreciated, Thank You! |
I received the same thing the first time i tried windowmaker so i downloaded it again and installed it and i worked. Kinda like windows... Noooooooooo. LOL. :D
