Window animation GNOME RH 8.0


how do i disable the window animation from minimizing and maximing windows? It is very annoying and I can only find the panel animation, not the window animation. THANKS FOR THE HELP

Hi,
Did you find a solution to the adamant window animation in Red Hat? I have a slow machine and would very much want to remove it. Do post the soution if you found one yet.

nope

if you use Ximian Desktop they have an option for it, as I understand, Gnome 2.4 will have it as an option also. I'm guessing if you sift through gconf you will find it. I was not able to when I looked. it was my problem personally...it was a friends...he just switched to KDE
