Win2k+Linux Problems
I had windows 2000 installed on the first partition, hda1m with size of 2 gigs.
Then I had a small (16 meg) /boot partition (hda2) for linux and a 4 gig / partition for linux (hda4). The rest of my drive was partitioned off into large win2k partitions, save one 256 meg swap partition for linux.
I installed windows 2000, and have been using it for some time now.
Today, however, I decided to set my computer up to dual boot with linux. So I got red hat 7.1 and installed it to the partitions i listed above. However, when it finally got the end of installation, during the post=install configuration, it said
"An error occured while installing the bootloader. blah make boot disk blah The error reported was: "warning device 0x0309 exceeds 1024 cylinder limit. Fatal: sector 78365133 too large for linear mode (try lba32 instead)."
I could say nothing but ok, so I went along and made a boot disk. So now Linux can load, but it appears that I must have a boot disk (bad). On the very very very bad side, win2k DOESN'T load. I didn't erase its partition, so i figure it should be possible to get it to boot again. If not, break it to me easy.

P.S. I chose workstation install. Should I have chosen something else for dual boot? I have found info on 'lilo' installation whenever i look up dual boot, i was never prompted to install it. Help!
