Will SLES11 work with SLED11 packages?

I'm in need to use freeglut-devel package in SLES11 but it only comes in SLED11 not SLES11. Can this be done easily or would it be easier to reload with SLED11?

Novell has stated that SuSE Linux Enterprise has a common code base for all their products.
This means that you can install SLED packages on a SLES computer, as long as the release
versions are the same. In this case, installing a SLED 11 package on a SLES 11 os, you
shouldn't have any problems.
