Why won't this game start?

hi I downloaded and installed a demo of a game called Savage and it won't start. well only the game's updater starts, after that nothin happens. i'm using SuSE 9.1 and when I had the option to download the nVidia driver I did so that can't be the problem. the demo is a .sh file and I installed it like this: sh FILE.sh that OK right? o and u should try the game it rocks!!

You downloaded the nvidia driver, but are you actually using it? You can verify it with Yast...under "display adapter" or "graphics card" or something like that, it should say "nvidia" and NOT "nv". You could also check the "device" section in /etc/X11/XF86config instead of using Yast.
