why openoffice (spreadsheet) has no save as simple TXT ?


That 's curious, no?

Try updating to a current version of openoffice. 1.1 is really old. The current version (as far as I know) is 2.2 .

Well from the header of the screen capture you posted it is 1.1.4. Maybe you compiled openoffice but not the spreadsheet?
