I use redhat 7.3 as dns , www, email server, after running 2 monthes ,

it stop listenning 25 port, when I use command "telnet localhost 25"

,it tell me that the 25 port don't open. when I use command "ps -ef

|grep sendmail" , it tell me that the sendmail refuse to connections ,

but there have the sendmail ps id , so I think the sendmail is also

running but not listening the 25 port , after I reboot the sendmail

program it dosen't listen the 25 port , so I just reboot the computer

,thus I solve the problem , but after one week , it dosen't work too ,

what is the trouble with the server ? what can I do for this?
Dose some program prevent the sendmail to listen the 25 port ?

my computer is ibm netfinity , the engineer of ibm tell me that the

computer I used dosen't support the redhat 7.3 , it maybe have all

kinds of questions when I use redhat system newer than redhat 6.1 ,it

also maybe have not any questions ? Is this my computer hareware

problem?
