Why kde boot slow because /etc/network/interfaces denied user internet conection?
Hi. I have modified /etc/network/interfaces on Debian 5.0.8 for denied internet access to an user.
In the machine i have some users for navigate (user for mail, other for videos, other for facebook, etc, and other for data and antivirus on the HD).
When start users (with access to internet), all of them boot quickly. But when start kde for internal user (with internet access denied by /etc/networking/interfaces), it boot really slow. It take about 5 minutes to boot completely.

This is /etc/networking/interfaces archive:
# The secondary network interface
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
pre-up iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp -m owner --uid-owner user1 -j DROP
pre-up iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp -m owner --uid-owner user2 -j DROP

Are there any way to configure kde to skip look for internet conections? I think there are any program looking for websites during booting, and can't find it to configure (and/or how to do that).
It is entirely possible to setup a UDP client that works just like a TCP connection, and if they put in a bit of effort, I think they could even forward loopback connections to a remote host via UDP, with the remote host providing the conversion from UDP back to TCP for standard access (though a bit more anonymous).

BTW, it may not have anything to do with KDE.
Remember, the bash shell also makes network connections...

Have you an easy web or manual about? I did like to configure and solve my problem.
