Found it.

"8. Is your son obsessed with "Lunix"?

BSD, Lunix, Debian and Mandrake are all versions of an illegal hacker operation system, invented by a Soviet computer hacker named Linyos Torovoltos, before the Russians lost the Cold War. ..."

Its a joke Slade1988. Whoever told you that just made you look like a stooge in front of the entire Internet. If I were you I'd come up with a good prank to get them back.

You mean this LUnix ?
http://hld.c64.org/poldi/lunix/lunix.html

Send an e-mail and ask about it.

If you mean Linux, then ... yes, Linux is illegal according to Bill Gate$ and Steve Ballmer and the SCO. However, according to everyone else, including most sane judges (in the lawsuits applied), Linux is perfectly legal.

This is pathetic.

Slade1988 is "wondering why", but hasn't bothered to search.
Slade1988 has posted no links.
Slade1988 has posted "flamebait"

This thread should be moved to General, or allowed to die because it is completely pointless.
Grrrr
