why is it that there is no mp3 in my konqueror?


hi,

i saw in one thread from this website that konqueror can be used to rip audio cd's. i tried it and i saw that i can rip, but i was looking for mp3 but i cannot find it...

how can mp3 appear in konqueror?

Are you using RedHat 8 or 9? RedHat doesn't compile MP3 support into it's distro anymore. Patent issues. They only supply free/open source software.
