Hi All,

I am getting this error when I try to compile my code in Fedora 8.0

I am using Eclipse IDE for the same.

The Error message is /usr/bin/ld Cannot find -lsane.

Welcome to Linux Questions.

" Cannot find -lsane " = libsane > > "libsane.so"

Solution :
# yum install sane-backends-devel

All other sane stuff is probably available with yum too.
Try # yum search sane
(will display 40 packages)

Thanks for the feedback.

I used other command and installed SANE backend

The command is

rpm -ivh sane-backends-libs-1.0.19.10.fcp,i386.rpm.

Thanks
