Why F5 is needed to refresh after uploading file to samba server

I have centos5.3+ samba3.0.33. After I uploading file to samba server, I need to enter F5 to reload the folder display, then I can see the new file under the share point by samba server. I tried to add refresh=1 to /etc/samba/smb.conf but It is not helpful.

I suspect that the problem has to do with the file browser that you are using rather than with the Samba configuration.

Are you viewing the Samba share from the same computer or from a different computer?

If you are logged on to the Samba server are you using the Samba software to view the files in the Samba share or are you looking directly into the directory from the file system?

If you are viewing the files in the Samba share from a different computer then what client OS and file browser are you using to view the Samba share?
