Question why dose stardict can not find the dictionary

i installed stardict 2.4.5 in my FC4, and i searched many information in the internet to
know how to install the dictionary ,i found a directory /usr/share/stardict/dic and put the
dictionary in this directory ,but stardict can not find it ,do you know why ,
i am looking forward to your help ,thanks

i think you have to tell the software, where the dictonary is.

yes ,i do it ,i search the method in the manual of help ,the software command me to put the dictionary in /usr/share/stardict/dic ,i did it ,but the software say he can not find the dictionary ,i don't know why
