why dont i have lp or lpr in /usr/bin

I had a HP officejet 725 printer on centos 4.2 before. When i installed the printer, the driver was there, lp and lpr were in /usr/bin so i can print just fine. Now i change to a samsung laser printer which do not have a poscript driver but it use a linux driver provided by the manufacture instead. When i installed the driver for samsung printer, it can print normally. But then i removed that driver(the samsung driver) and reinstalled it, now i have problem. The lp and lpr commands in /usr/bin have gone. I tried to create a soft link lp, lpr in /usr/bin pointing to /usr/local/linuxprinter/bin/lpr(this is where the samsung printer installed). However, from that time, whenever i try to print multipages(more than one) the printer can only print the fisrt page, the rest is ignored.
I guess the lp and lpr must call a spooler to collect all the pages user want to print before send the print job to the driver, right? If it is the case, how can i fix my current problem? Which package should i install to recover the old lp and lpr command in /usr/bin?
Any suggestion are welcome
Thai
