Exclamation Why doesn't it play mp3s ?

Hi,

I've just installed Red Hat 9

I can't play an mp3, nor with kaboodle, nor with noatun.
It just doesn't launch when I press play but I know the sound works!

Do you know what's happening ???
Thanks

The MP3 codec is a patented technology. RedHat doesn't include any software that isn't completely free.

Oggs are great. But, if you really want MP3s, you can go to www.xmms.org and get their RPMs and install them.
