why does Wine have its own browser?
I had seen the term "winebrowser" some time ago when I opened some file with a right-click to choose an application, but I didn't look into it because I was doing something else and didn't need a browser anyway. Now it came to my attention again: I saw it (this time labeled "Wine Internet Explorer") and decided to run it to see what it is.
So Wine has its own browser. That's nice, but why? Why might I want to use it? I have Pale Moon, and I kept Firefox for the few websites I visit that don't seem to cooperate with Pale Moon. Is the purpose an open-source browser that can visit websites requiring Internet Explorer?--the name "Wine Internet Explorer" suggests it.
