Why does GAIM's not working?

Hey! my gaim is going nuts (for real) when i login, it just crashes after a few seconds/minutes. This is really wierd.
I've tried to uninstall and install again, but, its says it requires "gaim-festival,1.00,3.2.fc4.rf"

What to do?

install gaim-festival,1.00,3.2.fc4.rf too... that's exactly what it's asking for...
