why cant i get wine!
I got Red Hat 9. I go to winehq
they say the one i need is called WineX. i click it and it takes me to this website where i can buy it, or get something else for free. i click the free one and it brings up a HUGE page of code.
what the hell do i do with code?

are you gonna run programs or games? if only programs like notepad and stuff get wine from hq or if you wanna run games you gotta have winex from transgaming

and if your saying that it says you need winex cause you said you are going to play games, then thats why they kicked ya over to transgamings website...
but i'll tell you that alot of games work with the regular version of wine, and winex although maybe better but is not always needed...of course winex does have a bigger game database then the regular wine will ever have, but just look around and see if any has had success with the games you wanna play and see if regular wine will work for you..
....and i'll say it again, do a search on this fourm and look for winex for free and you'll see i posted to people some places where you can obtain it for free instead of buying it...
