"who am i" funny output
Hi all.
I have 2 RHSE3 servers, and when conecting by telnet (this doesn't occur with ssh), the
who am i -T commands returns diferent output depending on the server.
I'd like to get rid of the diference, but I don't really know where to start from...
Here is the output
production server
$ who am i -T
mfg + pts/0 Sep 21 03:44 (LM50381.es.mydomain.net)
test server
$ who am i -T
mfg + pts/11 Sep 21 04:25 (LM50381)
As you see, one server returns a complete host name (not the server hostname though, the conected client hostname).
This happens from every clients in the company, and only with telnet (ssh is ok)
the telnet version is the same on the servers:telnet-0.17-26.EL3.3
any idea??
Thanks in advance,
Paul
