Whiteboard application for Linux + Windows

Is there any usable whiteboard application that can be used to communicate from Linux to Windows platform ? I would like to use the whiteboard with someone that is using Windows, so the program needs to support both platforms

I have been approached to produce Whiteboard software by two organisations now. I am only beginning my trawl to see what's available but I presume they find very little.
Any information welcome.

I believe my result will be GPL cross-platform Linux/Mac/Windows code.
