which video drivers should I install
 

Hello, I have temperature problems with my video card and I need to install new drivers in order to fix that. I run linux slackware 14.1 and my video card is Radeon HD 6400M/7400M Series.
My problem is that i dont know which drivers to download.

For Radeon video cards I've always used the radeon driver that comes with the kernel.

??? how did you come to that conclusion and what exactly does it mean? is your screen getting hot? again, how exactly did you come to that conclusion?
