which version of php

I'm trying to run Joomla 1.6 on an SME Server at the 7.5.1 level and I'm getting the following message:

"Your host needs to use PHP 5.2.4 or higher to run Joomla 1.6."

SME is running some version of CentOS but I'm not sure which one.

How can I find what lever PHP is at.

Thanks

Hi swamprat,

SME version 7.x are based on CentOS 3. You can find out the version of CentOS you are running on by typing:

Code:
uname -a
For finding the current PHP version you can run the following command:

Code:
rpm -qa | grep php
Edit: Just googled around a bit and found that you can also run the command "php -v" without quotes to get php version info

Create a phpinfo.php page if you have access to do so.
