which linux can help me
My computer doesn't have the ps/2 port for both (keyboard and mouse) I only have usb port. By now any linux that I tried can't recognize my usb port. Can someone help to find which linux can't found and work with my usb keyboard and mouse. Redhat and Slax , they freeze my computer while I 'm trying to install them.

Well, I don't know what distros did you try before so maybe my comment doesn't be usefull, but, you can't try with distros like Fedora Core 4, Ubuntu, Mandriva, Knoppix to check it out

Some BIOS setups don't like USB keyboards, as such until an OS like Windows or linux loads drivers, your keyboard doesn't work. My BIOS has an option to enable USB keyboard support which fixes my keyboard not working at ISOLINUX.
Might be worth having a look.

Hi
I would suggest trying a LIVE distro first,to check if it works with the LIVE distro.
I suggest SimplyMEMPIS,Ubuntu or Knoppix,once you have determined which works,then install the Distro

No PS2 ports
Since you don't have PS2 ports you should be able to turn on Bios
support for USB keyboards. This should enable you to use your
keyboard and mouse while you are installing an operating system.
