You mean what languages can be input using linux? I've seen IME for just about every language that one would want to input. I just installed suse 10 over a 9.0 install, wow. It is so easy to type in japanese now. I think that Linux has surpassed windows in this area. IMHO. Good luck.
I doubt there's a single IME program that covers all Unicode characters. What do you want to do with a program like that, anyway?

firstly,thank u for help me to deal whith this problem. i am tester, and now we will test program to support Unicode and GB18030 characters.but GB18030 characters is lawless on linux. so we must direct type Unicode to tset the program support. Could u have some experience for this field.

My experience with Unicode is limited to dealing with Unicode data types in the C/C++ languages. (I'm a programmer.) I also use a Unicode encoding (ja_JP.UTF-8) on my Linux box, but that's about all I know. I wish I could help you more. :*(
