Which ICQ client?
I'm really curious what you guys are using. There are plenty of clients out there. Perhaps licq which I'm using now isn't the best app...
|
I'm not using icq. But I've got a client installed - BitchX.
|
Isn't BitchX a IRC-client?
|
Yes it is...
I was using mICQ, but now I will give a try for GAIM |
zoiks! You've missed out (a)msn Alvero's messenger!

try SIM( simple instant messenger) it's great. it even minimizes to system tray like icq. has most of the windows icq features.
check it out edit/ isn't alvero's just an msn client? |

Gaim for sure, I've been using it for over a year now and it's all I've ever needed... it's nice to have all the chat clients in one window with tabs.. keeps the clutter down.

I have tried GAIM, but as soon as micq 0.4.9.4 appeared ( it already can transfer files ) I came back to mICQ
|
Yep, micq all the way! It doesn't take much resources, is comfortable, finally I can transfer files with it and I like because I can use it when I'm out of X. :)
|
I often use ssh sessions to my server at home (when I'm at university or at a friend's place etc) so graphics are no real option.
Therefore I love CenterICQ. It supports not only ICQ, but also AIM, MSN and a few others and works the best for me :) |
