Question Where to find CD-burning progs?

I'm new to Linux and RedHat 8.0.
I'm also not so good at typing in english (I'm from sweden you see..)
Ok, here goes my question:

I am searching for different types of CD-burning software to try out.
I want to try out several programmes because I want to see wich one I think is best for me, the one provided by RedHat I'd just not understand...

I appreciate any help with finding this type of software and of course if you have any tip about where I can find other types of free software to Linux/RedHat.

For things like this, you could check out LQ's link section:

They have some sites listed in there for searching for packages. I personally use K3B lately when I'm not in the mood to command line it, or I am in the middle of other X programs and don't wanna switch out of X.

Unhappy problems with k3b..

at first it's really slow when it makes the files and then I get error-messages...

Is there something else that I need before I install k3b?

Not that I know of, if you have cdrecord cdrdao and mkisofs you're set!
Which errors do you get?
I had to search a bit before I was able to make it work correctly, you can check this post
to see if it matches.

Edit : sorry I just saw that you were getting errors when making the files.
You have Red Hat, use rpm's, they're for download at the k3b site!!
It will make your life easier in most cases.
