Files in UNIX/Linux unlike those in DOS/Windows don't require suffixes like .exe.

How to find it would depend on how you installed it.

If you installed with rpm or yum then you can probably figure out where the files are with the rpm command:

rpm -ql clamav

If you compiled your own and installed it then it will be where you chose to install it or where the make install told it go.

The command to find files is oddly enough called "find".

You could run "find -name clamav" to find any file named clamav.

You could run "find -name '*clamav'" to find any file that contained clamav as part of its name.

If the executable for clamav is named that and in your PATH variable already then you would be able to tell where it is by typing "which clamav"

the executable to start the scan engine is 'clamscan' (or clamdscan if you use it with daemon). Just type 'clamscan' to use it. There is also a gui for kde named 'klamav'.

You obviously didn't read my post or you wouldn't have asked the last question you did. I suspect you didn't read the other response either.

The message you're getting is telling you that you don't have the source for the kernel installed on your system. You'll have to determine your distribution (RedHat, Fedora, CentOS, Slackware, Suse, Debian, Ubuntu or other) and your version of that distribution. You'll then need to google how to get the kernel src for that version of your distribution.

I doubt that you'll get very far however, as it appears you don't actually read what is written and just try to wing it.
