where is Qt 3.3.7 under Fedora Core 6?

Just installed FC6 and then Qt 4.2 (works 3+ hour build)

I cannot find qmake under qt-3.3 or qt-3.3.7 (same)

Run the command
Code:
$which qmake
I found it in /usr/lib/qt-3.3/bin/.

that is where qmake should be

a locate is more powerful and only found my newly installed Qt 4.2

FC4 and FC5 had Qt 3 already installed and waiting

There are a number of anomalies in FC6

sounds card checks OK but speakers do not work when playing a CD

this is a bug already noted in bugzilla

no screensavers (another post)

I am using FC6 on my laptop and I don't have any of the problems you mentioned. Qmake is found in /usr/lib/qt-3.3/bin/ and my sound works fine from any source.

well I guess

the only people having this sound problem are

(1) myself

(2) the guy who made the entry in bugzilla who

by the way is the contact person for sound problems

yum update just had several sound card updates

After yum update, sound card still detects but no sound during

CD play. Maybe I need to reboot!
