where is lilo config file?

I messed up my lilo config file. I looked in /boot for it and found some files named config, but they didn't have anything in them that I understood to be the configuration of my partitions into lilo and they were huge.

I installed lilo to the MBR.

Does anyone know how I can fix lilo? I have several linux boot CD's like knoppix and slackware-live.

Oh yeah, and I'm using slackware 9.1

The file is in /etc/lilo.conf and "man lilo.conf" should tell you most of what you need to know.

Note: if you do make changes to lilo.conf, you need to run the lilo program in order for them to take effect. Run: /sbin/lilo after you've saved your changes. - J.W.

Note: screw the config file and just run /sbin/liloconfig script and redo the lilo installation and configuration... might as well.
