where does cvs install to? how do i find files?


hey probably a pretty easy question to answer but i was wondering if you guys could tell me where CVS installs to - i have installed the cvs version of winex and have no idea where it has installed to so...

1. can anyone tell me where it installed the source to -

2. how can i effectively search for files?

In my (admittedly quite limited) experience it just downloads to wherever you run CVS from. For example, running CVS in my $HOME/src directory automatically creates $HOME/src/appname with all the files in there.

hmmm my cvs is installed in /usr/bin - and it sure isnt in there do you have any idea where else it could be?
