You do not want the obsolete "madwifi", which comes as source via CVS. You want the new "madwifi-ng", which comes as source via Subversion. (If you don't know what CVS and Subversion are, you'll find out now.) Search the web. You'll have lots of fun compiling and installing the madwifi-ng kernel module. The madwifi-ng README file will explain everything. The best part is working out how to bring up the ath0 interface at init time (if Redhat uses SysV-style init - I don't know). Read the 'interfaces' man page for starters. The very best of luck
