No, that is not really what I want, it is simply the closest I got to what I need.
I am used to Pico on no-frills CENTOS, but my Linux experience is limited to using pico for setting up/managing users and for fixing typos and styles on web pages. Plus picking up the odd helpful trick from a forum. I never had the privilege of any formal training or course, so please go slow and easy!
Now I have to do some stuff on somebody's new RedHat, but without Pico I am handicapped.
If you can tell me where and how to get Pico or Nano, I really would appreciate it.
Thanks!

don't let the size of the download fool you
it has versions for 32bit linux and windows,64bit linux and windows,BSD,dos and the source code in assembly and C
the 64bit linux version I'm using is 17064 bytes in size it's written in assembly so it's a full feature editor
Thanks!
Got it and installed it. Works fine. Now I just have to train my fingers to type nano instead of pico. ;-)
Thanks again for all your help!
