where can i get lib files


when i install a program in linux (mandrake) he always say
lib** is required .for example when i install aprogram which called nmap this was the answer
llibstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 is needed by nmap-3.81-1
where can i get this files

That library will be packaged with the compat-libstdc++ packages.. usually searches on rpmfind.net will tell you what packages the lib's come packaged with, etc.
