where can i get a sndconfig.tar.gz file

id like to install sndconfig but i can only find it in rpm form and the dependencies suck. also i cant get the .src.rpm file to rebuild correctly, errors.

i guess itīs better to take the rpms and solve the missing dependencies. the program will need that probably if u install a tar.gz as well. donīt u think so?
but i guess this sort of answer sucks so try that
http://www.tuxfinder.com/packages/search.php
there they are
cheers, jens:)

when i do a google search for the dependency libraries they are rpm's as well.

rpms are not particularly evil:-). u can install and upgrade existing libraries and programs with
rpm -U ur.rpm
no problem, or does mandy not take that?
did u find and try the tar.gzīs at tuxfinder.com?
there are some versions available
cheers, jens
