where can i find wx-config?

im a nub and want to install a program->HELP ME
i want to install emule, and when i've got to give in "./confige",
in the end of the "rapport" he says the following error message:
hecking for wx-config... no
configure: error:
Please check that wx-config is in path, the directory
where wxWindows libraries are installed (returned by
'wx-config --libs' command) is in LD_LIBRARY_PATH or
equivalent variable and wxWindows is version 2.4.0 or above.
Or this might also be a bug in our configure. Please try again
with --with-wx-config=/usr/bin/wx-config
(replace /usr/bin/wx-config with a valid path to your wx-config)

what the f*** is this wx-config? is linux all the time such complicated or is it just in the beginning?

wx-config comes with the wxWindows package. You can get find it on your installation CD-ROMs I believe. You'll need the devel packages for wxWindows as well.

while installing pkgconfig, after giving in make, there comes this error message:
/usr/bin/install -c pkg-config /usr/local/bin/pkg-config
/usr/bin/install: cannot create regular file `/usr/local/bin/pkg-config': Permission denied
make[2]: *** [install-binPROGRAMS] Fehler 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/Fifzu/pkgconfig-0.15.0'
make[1]: *** [install-am] Fehler 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/Fifzu/pkgconfig-0.15.0'
make: *** [install-recursive] Fehler 1

i thought that could be because i'm not root. so i gave in su -, my password and "make"
but he could'nt find a mak file...
what happened?
