where can I find pyrapi2?

Building synce-install-plugins for ipaq synchronisation in Debian Lenny, blocked by error messages requiring "pyrapi2". I installed pyrapi from ttp://freshmeat.net/projects/pyrapi/ but this is evidently insufficient. I have also posted on http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/f...me=synce-devel
which gives more detail on the actual error messages.
Searching google, ask, etc, etc has found references to pyrapi2.so as part of RPM package but that is as far as I can get at the moment.

I have found on another occasion that a dependency problem of this sort was difficult to resolve as the package I needed had a slightly different name.

Can anyone suggest how to resolve this? Many thanks.-Phil
