Where can I find Apache 1.3.29 for Windows and Q about apache on Windows

I need to install Apache version 1.3.29 for Windows and can't find an msi file for it. Anyone know where I can get one?

Also, will Apache 2.2.8 for Windows work fine with PHP 5? We are installing a CMS called eZ Publish. On ez Publish's website they state that:

"When using Apache 2.x, it must run in "prefork" mode instead of "threaded" mode - the reason for this is because some of the libraries that PHP extensions use might not be thread-safe. Note that Apache 2.x for Windows only exists in "threaded" mode and thus you should use Apache 1.3 when running eZ Publish on Windows."

What are your thoughts on this? Thanks.

Well, you came to a Linux site and post a question in a Linux Forum, and you want to know our thoughts?

Install Linux and use Apache 2.x. If you have problems along the way, post a question and we will help you resolve it/them.

That being said (and encouraged), you can find what you are looking for here:

http://archive.apache.org/dist/httpd/binaries/win32/
