Unhappy Where can I download readvcd??

Hi,

I used to use a program called readvcd to copy my VCDs and convert them into MPEG format. I recently lost the program from my system. I had downloaded the program from,

http://miketeo.net/links/readvcd-0.3.tgz

But, now that URL is not available. Can someone tell me a site where I can get this program??

Try this.

You copy the files in the MPEGAV folder in your VCD, to your hard disk, using the normal Copy Paste method.

The extension of those files is .DAT

Rename those files to .mpg and then i think you are done.

That will not work

The .dat file is for the use of windows. It is called an ISO Gateway. If u try to copy it on linux you would receive an I/O error.

I never got any error like the one you have mentioned.

I have successfully managed to copy the DAT files to the Hard-disk.
