where are xpm includes and librarys? to compile rxvt with backgroud support

hi there,

i'm trying to compule rxvt under redhat 9 and i need to know where the xpm includes and librarys are. the output of <./configure -enable-menubar --enable-graphics --enable-rxvt-scroll --enable-transparency --enable-xpm-background --with-term=rxvt> is:

.----------------------------------------------------------------.
. WARNING: --enable-xpm-background was specified however the .
. XPM includes files and libraries could not be found. .
. XPM backgrounds are now being DISABLED! If you want .
. to use them you should rerun configure with the .
. appropriate --with-xpm-includes=/path/to/xpm/includes .
. and --with-xpm-library=/path/to/xpm/library lines. .
.----------------------------------------------------------------.

where is this path? i've been serching for it, maybe i dont have it on my rh box.

thankx
