Where are the java apps?

I'm trying to get a program working under WINE that is for the travel industry. The program is designed to work with IE & Windows only.

I seem to have everything installed with no problem at all. However, this program uses a java VPN client. When trying to establish the connection it is returning the error: LMHosts files is *not* okay.

I've tried changing the permissions of the lmhosts file to 777 but that is not making a difference. The file that I'm changing is ~/C:\WINDOWS\lmhosts

I don't know if that is the right lmhosts file that this java VPN client is looking for or not. Any ideas?

Also... I noticed something else peculiar. The status is showing connected (even though it really isn't) and the duration is unchaged at 5m 25s. Does not count up at all.

I can't seem to find out where I can stop the VPN and try again.

I just tried again and it is now properly counting the duration (after reboot) however the VPN connection still isn't establishing. Here is what it says:

Code:

[1001] The Port Forwarder is initializing. Please wait...
[14] Only users with Administrator access can start a VPN Client which updates host mapping(s). Applications may fail due to missing host mapping(s). Please contact your network/system operator if this is a problem.
[1002] The Port Forwarder has been started.
[17] Error setting up server socket. 127.0.0.1:389.

Can anyone please help me with this?
